What is RACE-4-KIDS?
RACE-4-KIDS is a charity-, sports- and family event series for people with sportsmanship and a huge heart. RACE-4-KIDS takes place twice a year. In winter, we start with specialized carts on ice and snow. In summer we race on regular tarmac.
It’s a fascinating combination: the mixture of racing and charity in conjunction with a lot of fun and the feeling of doing a good thing at the same time is what makes RACE-4-KIDS so special.

Our aim: Concrete help
The target of the benefit initiative is to help less fortunate children and families in Germany and Austria. Beneficiaries are organizations like for example „Drachenkinder“ (Radio 7).
RACE-4-KIDS founder Jasmin Rubatto and her team are in constant personal contact with the kids and their families to ensure that the money raised gets to where it is needed most. Thanks to your support, we can finance helpful therapies. Examples include a music therapy for little Joshua or a dolphin therapy for the young Alessia, none of which is covered by their health insurance.
Further, we help accomplish concrete tasks, which make every day life easier. One example is the remodelling of a bathroom to make it wheelchair accessible or the financing of a little family vacation.
The charity event also fascinates at top levels. In 2010, the outstanding concept of RACE-4-KIDS was awarded by the German ex-president Horst Köhler in the context of the initiative „Deutschland – Land der Ideen”.
How can you participate?
Take the chance to show your cart-racing skills and meet stars from sports, TV and music. As you can imagine, we‘ll present an incredible line-up again. Actors like Tom Beck, Tobias Licht and Wolfram Grandezka, Moto GP champ Casey Stoner and Tour de France winner Jan Ullrich want to join us.
We‘ll be starting with 10 teams in Kühtai, all of them headed by one or two celebrities. There are two starting-places in every team, which will be auctioned online by eBay, beginning in December 2010. Why not slide around on an icy course with an off road go-cart? The venue of our winter event is the Tyrolean village Kühtai, amidst the impressive scenery of the Austrian Alps. This charming, familiar place with its layers of guaranteed snow (2020 meters above sea level) is only 2 hours away from the Airport Munich and 20 minutes from the city of Innsbruck.
